When we launched the Pro Bono Award, our goal was simple: to support a nonprofit doing extraordinary work by offering them the tools to tackle their tech challenges head-on. Today, we’re thrilled to announce that the recipient of this inaugural award is Rainbow Railroad.
Why Rainbow Railroad?
In a time when systemic barriers and targeted legislation continue to jeopardize the safety of LGBTQI+ individuals, organizations like Rainbow Railroad are a lifeline.
Operating in both the United States and Canada, Rainbow Railroad provides vital assistance to LGBTQI+ individuals facing violence, persecution, and systemic discrimination globally. Since its founding in 2006, the organization has helped over 18,000 people escape harm and find safety through emergency relocation, crisis response, and other critical services.
As a company with roots in both Canada and the US, we feel a deep connection to Rainbow Railroad’s mission and the communities they serve. Their work represents the resilience and compassion that inspires us every day, and we consider ourselves lucky to play a small part in supporting their mission.
Looking Ahead
With our expertise in evolving and supporting nonprofits’ use of Salesforce, we’re ready to dive in and help Rainbow Railroad overcome some key technical challenges. From streamlining their systems to preparing for growth and scaling their impact, we’re bringing a fresh perspective and can’t wait to see what we can accomplish together.
